Lady T's Story
This is my story. So journey with me and Learn to "Crown Your Beauty".......
I was born named Fantasia Angelica-Unique Lambert born to Phalencia Lambert and Chivez Child's. My mother was 16 when she gave birth to me in Saginaw Michigan.
I know, enough said right? My father left the picture at an early age so, that left my mother and me. My mother had 3 more children after leaving my father. My mother was a single mother of 4, a full time student and worked 2 full -time jobs. So, with that being said, you are safe to make the assumption that I was the "SECOND" mother of the house hold and that I had to learn a "LOT" and grow up "REALLY" fast!!!!
My mother did the best she could, and so did I but, it just was not enough. My mother had to much to invest time into, to ensure the success of her children's future, to raise us properly. We missed a lot of school and that raised a lot of attention. So,my mother relocated to Columbus Ohio. Upon arriving to the new State, we entered the homeless shelter. There, my mother was able to get assistance with finding work again and getting back to her studies along with having a stable place for us to stay.
We got approved for an apartment and my mother was able to enroll us in school again. Everything was going great, so I thought. My mother began being away from home more and more in the passing time, sometimes leaving for 2 weeks at a time. Eventually, things were back to "normal" and I was staying home from school to care for my siblings. My school advisors became worried and called CPS. Me and my siblings ended up being taken out of the home and placed in a foster care home temporarily, until our mother finished her studies and had the right resources to care for us properly. My mother began to worry so much that, she became mentally unstable during her time away from us. We became ward of the State. We were all separated from one another and had to grow up without our mother, fathers, or each other.

That was one of the hardest parts of growing up!!!

Even that being said, I kept in contact with my siblings and sometimes my mother.
Once I became sixteen, I was adopted by my foster mother, Linda Williams.
Now, Linda was also a single mother but her children were grown. She worked a full time job and her 2 adult son's lived with her. She became a foster parent to help teens but ended up doing much more than that. I was sixteen and recently adopted, which, while it may seem like something to be very happy about, but I was young and wasn't looking at the bigger picture so I became rebellious.

My senior year in high school, now 17, I started acting out. I was skipping school and hanging out really late at night after my shift at work. I worked at this little pizza joint a few blocks from my house called Massey's Pizza. I was the order taker, cook, janitor and cashier. I could basically run the place by myself with the exception of delivering the orders. I would close the store and hang out with co-workers till 2 a.m. sometimes 3 a.m. in the morning. I got so bad at it, sometimes I did not make it home. I stayed at friends houses for days at a time. You can imagine how my mother felt. Linda, eventually accepted the fact that I wanted to be independent so, she enrolled me in a government funded program for teens to become what the State of Ohio calls "Emancipation". A program designed to prepare certain teens to become an Independent Living Individual with the opportunity to get accepted into an apartment all expenses paid for a year. I graduated the program and moved out of Linda's home. I stayed with a friend while I searched for a place to live.

While I was searching for a place to live, someone, was searching for ME!!

Yup. You guessed it. My FATHER!! I was at school the day I received the message from my father on a Social Media site we all know as Facebook. My father said he had been looking for me and my mother ever since......well, since we left his eye sight. We had a very long conversation and by the end of it, I was booking my bus ticket to Cincinnati Ohio. I dropped out of High School and I arrived at the bus station in downtown Cincinnati the very next day. My father met me at the front door of the station and we headed to his house. I could not stop starring at my father.

He had been gone soooooo long, and to know he was looking for me all that time was giving me butterflies. Over whelmed with emotions, I moved in with my father who, at the time, was living with his mother. My biological grandmother. Whom, I had not seen since I was a small child. They welcomed me with open arms. Still being in my rebellious stage, I was staying out late and partying a LOT!! Heck, I was about to turn 18 and I was the new girl on the block so I was taking FULL advantage. Unfortunately, I became pregnant by the time I turned 18. I know, bad decision on my end but I can say that I planned it out that way. I wanted to have a baby so that I could fill the void of not having my mother in my life all those years. I wanted to replace the lost love.
After a very through conversation with my father about how I felt and why I decided to become pregnant at such a young age, he was accepting of it and he welcomed my baby boy into the world with open loving arms.

I eventually moved into my first apartment and enrolled into school again. I knew I had a lot on my plate at such an young age, but I developed some pretty strong determination vibes over the time I was living with others. I had a point to prove to myself, that I was going to do all I could do, to be all I that I could be, no matter what!! I made a pledge to myself, to be the opposite of a statistic. However, with so much on my plate, I became overwhelmed and began making not so good decisions. I began taking out loans to keep up on my bills, but was still new to the aspects of what that intels. So, I became more behind than anything. I also had 2 more children. I began moving from place to place a lot to prevent court costs and a ruinned record from evictions. Switching jobs a lot to be in accordance with my children's schooling schedules and daycare hours. Letting my cars get taken by the loan merchants. Owing 2 and 3 banks at a time.

I began to see how bad decisions can affect you in the long run. I had 3 children with no marriage and no financial stability at the age of 26. After years of struggling to get things right,

I finally had enough

and decided, it had to be a better way for a single mother with bad credit and no funding to provide for herself and her 3 small children. 2 jobs and online schooling was not enough. I wanted to fulfill my dream of finishing school and becoming a business owner, but a high school drop out, 3 kids, not enough income, with messed up credit, just didn't seem possible. I kept reading up on things like, how to start your own business and how to become successful owning your own business. I became obsessed with online marketing and began to venture out into the world of "victims of scammers". Yes, I was one of those people who poured all of my time and energy and money into "quickly" becoming successful with online marketing strategies and Affiliate Marketing, Drop-shipping and everything in between. Eventually, I had enough with the scammers, and began, to think about my own solution to achieving my goals. I want to do things the right way and show others how to do it the right way. FACT: there is
NOT ONE EASY GET RICH QUICK SCHEME

out there that will turn you into a money making machine OVERNIGHT FOR FREE!!!!! There is not one single being or program out, that can make you rich in an hour or a week or a month for that matter. I soon realized my mistakes and began to read up on how to fix them.

I started putting myself in the right positions and things, started getting a lot easier for me to manage. I started planning my time with everything I do in each day. I began paying closer attention to where my funds were going. I started tracking things like, how much, when, where, why, refund policy, customer reviews, fuel points, cash back purchases, coupons and every other way to save a dollar. I set up payment plans for the things on my credit report, and my score went from "OH NO" to "HELLO".
I stayed in one place and at one job 5 years at a time. I kept my work ethic constant and my study time regular. I took each by day, one step at a time. Before I knew it, I was in a brand new car, moved into a new house, worked for myself from my home, opened 2 businesses, and began building my brand. My goals were being checked off like flies getting caught in a trap.
Upon completion of me creating my brand, I got the idea to start blogging about it as I began to reach my ultimate goals. Because you know what, it is not fair for these rich gurus to lure you into their schemes, Knowing they were once just like you. It's not fair, to make things look so easy to people that, they become willing to risk EVERYTHING. I learned, there are SOOOO many people just like me, had a rough start to life, but no matter what, never lost sight of their dream. There are people
whom, just like me, just need the right information and a push in the right direction to end their struggles. I believe, if more people, were to focus on their own solution to their struggles, less people will struggle. That just means, what worked for them, may not work for you, so don't force it, solve it.
Keep in mind, there is always someone out there experiencing the same thing you are. Your story, could be the inspiration they need, to push forward and help others to do the same.

This statement, became the foundation of my brand. I want to do something different, build my brand with the power of self educating and real experience.
So, to test my luck, I have finally self-educated myself, right into building this whole website!! That's right!! This website, is just the start but, is a reflection of the skills I have learned so far on my journey to reaching my ultimate goals. I originally planned to set this up as just an affiliate webpage but, as I began working, I got the thought to try my hand at combining, my Affiliate Promoting skills and promoting my actual skills. I figured 2 benefits are better than one right? So, the first step I took was finding out what I'm passionate about. That was easy. I want to own a Salon right? Right. But why do I want to own a Salon ? I didn't have to think about that to long. I LOVE everything about HAIR. Growing it, Styling it, getting creative with looks and colors and textures!! See, I can go on and on forever. So I then decided that what ever I promoted and blogged about would pertain to just that. Everything about hair.
Boom! Got that out the way. Next, I needed to figure out who I would partner with for the promoting portion of my business. I chose Amazon because they do all the hard back end work for you. Their platform is so easy to use and millions of people use it. Not only that but, I planned using their platform to promote my own business products once established. So I knew how to navigate their platform pretty easily.

Okay, boom. Got that out the way. Next, I had to figure the best way to put both my Blog and my Affiliate Products in one place. Of course!! A website right? Right. So with the knowledge I gained from self teaching, I knew just how to create a Blog and how to set up my Affiliate Promotions Page using the links provided by Amazon. So, In order to promote ANYTHING you have to have permission to do so. You also have to do so under a Business Entity Or Business Name. Platforms like Facebook and Instagram require you to promote under a Business Account which requires you to have a legit Registered Business. There's a lot more to this but, we are taking the crash course here for time saving purposes. If you have gotten this far, thank you .

Okay, so I then created my business. Picked a name, made a logo, registered my business name, got my EIN, created my Business Pages, chose my products, fact checked my Blog topics and hand built this webpage!! Everything you see, while on this site, I built. From the websites name to the footer on the page, links you click, destinations you end up, picture placements, buttons, boxes, menus, I designed it all to work and look the way it does.

I taught myself how to do this much and much much more. If you have a passion or a dream, follow it. You can do it . I am living proof that dreams can come true. You can create an environment for yourself that is stress free, worry free, and an inspiration to others all the while doing what you LOVE . If you want to be a business owner, Curate your business around your passion or talent. Build it around the things you love to do. Why? Because you want to be able to share it with others and it be an honest experience they can connect with more.

I know I have said a LOT, but I just want to be certain I am heard that way I have a better chance of being an inspiration someone. Even if it is just one person, If I can reach one person, and inspire them to take control of their lives, it means all this I have went through was worth it.

So I have made a few Blog posts where I like to talk about things like, Hair Growth Regimens that celeberties like Cardi b uses, my experiences with new clients, things I have tried for the first time and my main focus which is educating the brown community on natural hair care tips and hair care routines for hair growth.

I also have a product page labeled "Store", which displays the specialty items I hand picked for promoting. Although, My site will not collect payments or store credit card info. so no worries there, we do still gain a commission for links clicked through to Amazon's product pages through my Affiliate links. The commission earned is used towards the continued development of my website.

Thank you for reading my article and I only ask for your support through a follow or by you becoming a member of my Blog.
