Hey all. So I have not been active for good reasons I promise. Okay, so I recently had a client who requested a full u part lace closure sew -in . Now, I have done sew-in's before but I can count on one hand how many I did with a lace closure. I was a little nervous at first to accept the offer for her to book an appointment with me. But I told myself, c'mon Lady T. You got this!!! right .... cause self encouragement goes a long way I can guarantee you that. So, I booked the appointment and awaited her arrival the next day.

So she gets here and it's a good thing she was already washed and ready to go, but I of course still oiled her hair upon me braiding the pattern for her install. I use the jojoba oil for thick and healthy growth promotion. It works wonders on me and my children's hair and I love it!!! I use it on all my clients.....they love the smell of it.... and the feel. So after oiling her hair, I began to braid it in the pattern I was using for her install. Once finished with that step, I began sewing the wefts of her hair extensions to her braids. I like to sew almost half up before I install the Lace closure piece. Weather it be a full lace frontal or just a U-part lace closure like the one I was using this time. So I got almost half way up and I paused that part of the install and moved towards the front of her head. I took the U-part piece and began measuring where I was going to lay it. Then I marked the spots where I was going lay it on the bald cap I installed. I then began sewing it down . After that was installed, I then went back to the wefts I paused on and began filling in the gap between the u part closure and the wefts. Once that was all filled in I then went back to the front of her head and plucked her baby hairs so that they would lay accordingly. I then took my favorite edge control, the Ebin edge control (which can be purchased from this site under the Store tab in the Hair Accessories Section) and swooped her edges. Then I took my flat iron and flattened the hairs where the part of her lace front was. Just to give it that melted look.

Well the end result was amazing. I turned her around in the chair and screamed and jumped for joy. She was smiling so hard the kool-aid man would of been jealous. This is why it has become my passion to be a successful Hairstylist/Business women. That is the effect I have on others and I want to share it with the world!! Once I become licensed, which I will be by the end of year 2022, I am going to travel the world with my creative mind and leave a piece of my intellect everywhere I can. So feel free to take a look at the pictures below for the result of my first U part full Sew -in install. Comments are on so tell me what you think about it.
