Lemon Water has been long used in hair care remedies and hair masks to improve and promote healthy hair growth. Lemons are packed with nutrients and antioxidants such as citric acid, Magnesium, Potassium, Calcium, Vitamin C, and Falvonoids.
A lot of people may be very nervous about putting lemon juice in their hair due to myths about it turning your hair grey but, I know, that is not the case if and when this method is used properly and in moderation. Below are the steps you want to follow when making and using your own rice water solution spray!
What you will need:
1/2 Lemon
1 small spray bottle
15 min processing time
Process:
1) Squeeze the juice from the 1/2 lemon in to a bowl.
2) Add 1 cup of water
3) Pour mixture into spray bottle
4) Saturate your hair with the mixture from the spray bottle by generously spraying your scalp and hair with the mixture
5) Massage your scalp for 5 minutes
6) Let mixture sit in hair another 10 minutes
7) Wash mixture and Condition with a sulfate-free Shampoo and Conditioner.
How frequently should you do this method?
About once a week. If you notice your hair is drying out, dim down to once every two weeks and that will ensure you are not over treating your hair.

Lemon Shampoo For Hair Growth
This hair Shampoo is perfect for people who want to cover greys while boosting hair growth. Henna is a natural dye that contributes towards maintaining scalp health and reduces premature graying of hair and dandruff.
What you will need:
5 tablespoons pure henna powder
1 whole egg
1 cup warm water
1/2 lemon
Processing time: 1-2 hours
Process:
1) Combine the egg, the warm water and the henna powder in a bowl and mix until you get a thick paste
2) Squeeze the lemon juice from the half lemon into this mixture
3)Apply this mixture to your hair and scalp and leave it in until it dries. This should take 1-2 hours.
4) RInse the mixture out under cool water. Condition your hair with a sulfate-free conditioner.

2. Lemon Juice And Coconut Water
Coconut water has antioxidant properties. It helps prevent oxidative damage to the hair.
What you will need:
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon coconut water
Processing time: 20 minutes
Process:
1) Combine equal parts of the coconut water and lemon juice into a bowl
2) Massage the mixture into your hair and scalp
3) Let mixture stand in your hair for 20 minutes
4) Wash out the mixture a sulfate-free Shampoo.

4-5 drops lemon essential oil
Processing time: 45 minutes

2) Massage the oil blend into your scalp for about 15 minutes
3) Leave the oil in your hair for about 30 minutes
